POWER4TEENS SUMMER 2026:

I will be taking a much needed pause this summer, and will resume in 2027!
 
This decision was not made lightly. After many months of reflection, I’ve chosen to step back from running summer camp this year to rest, reset, and care for my own well-being. As many of you know, this work is deeply personal to me and our amazing staff and requires lots of heart, TONS of energy, and intention year round.
 
I was reminded of Simone Biles’ decision during the 2021 Olympics to step back and prioritize her mental and physical health, which was a powerful reminder for me, that rest is not quitting, but part of coming back stronger! While my journey is very different from hers, the lesson resonated with me deeply. 🫶🏽
 
This summer, I’ll be spending time traveling with my kiddos, enjoying cottage days, and reconnecting with friends and family we don’t often get to see during the busy camp season!
 
To our amazing P4T community, thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support. I know this may be disappointing and I very much apologize for that. Please give your girl(s) a big squeeze from me. I cannot wait to reconnect and see you all again in 2027. 🤗

Our Mother Daughter Self-Defence workshop last night was amazing!

A big group of 26 moms and daughters (not all captured 🤪), filled our room and together, we learned to be more self aware, practiced our skills and understood the importance of personal protection. 💪🏽

Thank you for showing up with good energy, and a willingness to try something new. It’s always inspiring to be in a room full of strong and supportive women and girls. 🥰

Community isn’t always built by programs—it’s built by people. Sometimes, the strongest role models for our kids are right beside them: their own parents. 💛

Watching moms and dads step up as mentors, cheerleaders, and examples reminds us that leadership starts at home and spreads into every corner of our village.
