I am settled in to this beautiful new space, and loving the vibrant, warm, inspiring buzz of the community at ✨

At 720 Bathurst St, it’s a quick stroll from Bathurst subway station. There’s a beautiful reception downstairs, and an elevator (YAY for being mobility aid accessible at last!) to come up to the 4th floor. I’ll send you a reminder email before your next appointment in this new spot, with details for your arrival. And you can always contact me with any questions beforehand!

Maternity leave started October 1st, but this wee one decided to chill for an extra 12 days past her due date, only finally making an appearance on October 25th! We are now two weeks into being a family of four—our feisty little Audrey, smiley-sweet Henry, and two very happy (and tired!) mums!

I already miss treating all of the wonderful clients I’m so lucky to see on a regular basis. But I am fully embracing this chaotic chapter of giggly, sleepy, cuddly babies, sleepless nights, and what feels like hourly diaper changing?! It’s a wild and wonderful time 💞

Thank you to my clients who came in for treatments yesterday, The National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, helping me raise money for . With your support, I was able to donate $427 to their programs which support the mental, physical and spiritual health of Indigenous folks in Toronto.

And thank you to the many people (friends, family and clients) that had reflective, heartfelt conversations with me about the role and impact that we have as settlers on these lands. Let’s continue to take mindful, constructive, strong steps towards being the allies that the First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples of these territories deserve. Let’s honour the memories of those who died tragically by colonial hands, and listen carefully to the voices of those that continue to feel the effects of this dark history, today.

September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (the evolution of Orange Shirt Day), a day to educate ourselves on the tragic history of residential schools and their profound impacts on generations of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. It is a day to celebrate the powerful people and cultures that survived, and to honour and mourn the children that did not make it home.

I am a white settler on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat people. I am committed to learning, listening and doing better by Indigenous people, today and all days. A small part of that is donating 100% of my treatment fees on Thursday, September 30th to Anishnawbe Health Foundation. is a health centre that has a huge array of programs and resources to support the physical and mental health of Indigenous individuals and families in Toronto, with a model of health care based on Indigenous culture and traditions. For decades they have been building a healthier, stronger Indigenous community by helping people to overcome barriers such as homelessness, poverty, trauma, abuse and addiction.
