 Here’s what no one talks about: Setting goals without reflection is like trying to build a house without a foundation.

✨ Can reflection really boost your health goals? Absolutely.
Here’s why: Reflection gives you clarity about what truly works for YOU.

When you reflect, you’re no longer setting generic resolutions like “I’ll lose weight” or “I’ll eat better.”

When you reflect, you’re no longer setting vague resolutions like “I’ll lose weight” or “I’ll eat better,” which lack direction and clarity.

Instead, you’re creating aligned goals—specific, actionable steps that honor your current lifestyle and move you toward what truly matters to you.

✨ For example:
* Instead of “I’ll eat better,” try: “I’ll swap my afternoon snack for a handful of nuts and a piece of fruit to keep my energy steady.”
* Instead of “I’ll get healthier,” try: “I’ll drink a glass of water first thing in the morning and prioritize 7 hours of sleep every night.”

Here’s what reflection taught me about my health goals:

💡 It’s not about doing more—it’s about doing what works.
 I once set a goal to work out 5 days a week, but life kept getting in the way. When I reflected, I realized that consistency mattered more than intensity. The next year, I started with 15 minutes of movement a day, and by the end of the year, I felt healthier than ever.

 We’re so quick to focus on what we didn’t accomplish. Reflection forces you to pause and celebrate what you DID achieve, no matter how small.

Reflection is the bridge between where you are and where you want to be.

Brain Loving Recipe SPICY-SWEET GREEN SMOOTHIE

🧐🍍When you think “healthy breakfast” what’s one of the first foods that pops into your mind?

If it’s a green smoothie, you’re not alone! But this recipe isn’t just for breakfast because it also would make an ideal snack to help boost your veggie and fruit intake.

You’ll see that it includes frozen grapes. I have a couple of tips:

✅TIP 1: Wash and dry your grapes thoroughly, then spread them out on a freezer-safe sheet pan. Put the pan in the freezer until the grapes are frozen (about an hour), then transfer them to a freezer-safe container or bag.

This stops them from freezing together.

✅TIP 2: Frozen grapes can be quick & healthy snack straight out of the freezer.

Pineapple Green Smoothie
(Serves 1)

1 cup (150 grams) chopped fresh or frozen pineapple
1 cup (30 grams) packed chopped spinach
1 cup (95 grams) green grapes, frozen
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 tsp ground flaxseed
1-2 Tbsp your milk alternative, water, or coconut water, as needed
½ scoop vanilla protein powder (optional)

Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Add liquid (milk alternative, water, or coconut water) as needed if the mixture is too thick.

Pour into a glass and drink up! 😋
