The St. Michael’s Hospital Department of Family and Community Medicine has the largest primary care research program among Ontario family medicine teaching sites. It is seeking a candidate whose research program aims to improve patient care and health outcomes in primary care.

Upstream Lab is currently looking for a full-time temporary Research Projects Coordinator to provide operational and strategic support to the Research Program Manager and lab scientists, ensuring efficient ex*****on of research projects, compliance with regulatory requirements, and smooth day-to-day lab operations.

This role balances administrative, project management, and consultative responsibilities across multiple research initiatives, staff, and stakeholders. This role offers a unique opportunity for candidates interested in the administrative aspects of research. Unlike many similar positions housed within separate departments, the Research Project Coordinator will be embedded directly within a research lab, enabling close collaboration with scientific teams while supporting the operational and organizational needs of ongoing lab operations.
