My 3-day juice cleanse started yesterday, and I want to give you all the recipes that I created for this cleanse. My main focus for this cleanse was to support my digestive system to help get everything going again, increase my energy, and help me prep for bringing solids slowly back into my routine!
I know I’ll be coming back to this to make for the summertime drink on regular days!

Is my sourdough alive and well? 😮💨 a journey that took so many emotions but definitely worth it!

I may seem a bit animated within this process, but I feel like all of me is crying inside as I want it to go right. It’s not that I’m a perfectionist, it’s the feeling of knowing I’m putting so much time into this, and I don’t want to fail. Here’s the thing about embarking on this journey: your sourdough is your newfound baby that you have to feed every day. The only way to indicate that you are doing a great job and that job is working is if it gives you signs of strong acidic notes that may smell like white or red wine, bubbles, and light textures. The design of the starter will depend on the flour you use.
Is anyone reading looking to go on a wild adventure and make a sourdough starter? Well, if you are I highly suggest taking notes of EVERYTHING…

Before focusing on detoxing or cleansing the body, we must consider our drainage pathways and their openness.
If not, you're generally going to get symptoms and say :
"I can't handle this detox"
"I'm herxing from killing these pathogens, parasites, candida etc."

This is your body's drainage funnel. My goal is to get you to understand your body in the best way possible so you can get better faster with fewer symptoms.
Our drainage pathways includes:
The Colon (Bowel Movements)
Liver and Bile Ducts
Lymphatic System
The brain drainage to the lymphatic system: glymphatics
Kidneys (urine excretion)
Skin (sweating)
The most important part of this funnel is the Colon. If we are backed up, then everything above it gets backed up. The goal before any detox or cleanse is to have 1-2 bowel movements a day 3 (if you're lucky) but not to the point it's watery stools.
When we detox this is grabbing onto harmful chemicals and pulling them out of the body, if our drainage pathways are backed up we start to feel worse before we get better.
