Youth Development Initiative Trust was honored to host a ceremony of Awareness on Youth Association Compliance and Handover of Certificates on behalf of the Zimbabwe Youth Council (ZYC) in Manicaland. The session celebrated the issuance of annual certificates to 7 compliant youth associations, recognizing their commitment to registration and adherence to ZYC standards. The ceremony was graced by distinguished leaders, including the Zimbabwe Youth Council Provincial Manager, Mrs Memory Kanyati, The Provincial Head from the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Development & Vocational Training Mr Alexis Mwakipesile, and the Zimbabwe Youth Council Operations Director Mr Sungano Chisina.
The workshop also featured an insightful presentation on the importance of registration and compliance, reinforcing the value of accountability and structured growth within the youth sector. As ZYC continues its drive to onboard all youth associations and clubs onto its digital dashboard, the vision of a well-coordinated and empowered youth ecosystem is steadily becoming a reality.
