Marketing Officer Vacancy – Timber Company

A Growing Timber Industry Leader headquartered in Mutare, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Officer to join our team.
As part of our strategic growth plan, the company is expanding its branch network within Zimbabwe and beyond. We are therefore seeking a highly motivated self-starter who can drive sales growth, strengthen our brand presence, and develop lasting customer relationships.

Position: Marketing Officer

Location: Mutare

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies
2. Drive company sales growth across all product lines
3. Manage and grow the company’s social media presence
4. Coordinate e-sales and digital marketing campaigns
5. Conduct personal selling and customer engagement activities
6. Identify new business opportunities and markets
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
8. Promote the company brand professionally and consistently
9. Prepare regular sales and marketing performance reports

Requirements & Qualifications
1. Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Sales, or related field
2. Proven experience in marketing and sales
3. Strong understanding of social media marketing and digital sales platforms
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
5. Highly motivated, innovative, and results-oriented
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
7. Good organizational and reporting skills
8. A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
