As we wrap up Men's Mental Health Month Yesterday we had a great time with young kids and other Youths the event was organized by young girl Nyasha Manzou and her team from Bright Girls Movement , There were some notable speakers like Vickie Maponga Mlilo narrating her story of surviving su***de and Drug abuse survivor Oscar Pambuka narrating his jail sentence as the Messianic save from the drug abuse , Tadie Madzima was also part of the conversation so it was a pleasure as everyone was advocating for mental health, drug and substance abuse, su***des and PTSD , SAY NO TO DRUGS, SPEAK TO SOMEONE IF YOU ARE FEELING UNCOMFORTABLE MENTALLY , IF SUICIDAL THOUGHTS COME ACROSS YOUR MIND TALK TO SOMEONE YOU TRUST, DON'T LET TRAUMA AFFECT YOUR FUTURE, TALK TO US

It is so heartbreaking that mental health is still being ignored by even the big organisations of the world.
Many people are struggling and actually need these services but due to the limited funding they can't be helped. Use your voice so as to see improvement in mental health.

Did you know that su***de is not a solution?! It rather keeps one's loved ones in grief and always questioning themselves about what could have gone wrong.
Topics like depression need to be openly discussed with the people closest to us without judgment.
