🌍🍟 OVER US$1 MILLION COLLECTED IN JUST 6 MONTHS!

In the first half of 2025 alone, Zimbabwe collected more than US$1 million from the 1% Fast Foods Tax.

Government said the tax would help fight lifestyle diseases and improve public health.

But we are asking:

🏥 Where are the upgraded clinics?
🥦 Where are the nutrition programmes?
💊 Why are hospitals still facing medicine shortages?

If people are paying this tax every time they buy fast food, they deserve to see results.

The Youth Accountability Initiative is calling for full transparency from the Ministry of Finance and ZIMRA on how this money is collected and spent.
