Practical pavement painting tips to make your project last longer and look professional:

---

🖌️ 1. Prep the Surface Thoroughly
- Sweep away dust, dirt, and debris.
- Use a pressure washer or stiff brush with detergent to remove grease, moss, or stains.
- A clean surface ensures the paint bonds properly.

🎨 2. Repair Cracks and Holes First
- Fill gaps with concrete patch or asphalt filler before painting.
- Uneven surfaces cause peeling and reduce durability.

🌞 3. Choose the Right Paint
- Use paving paint or asphalt-specific paint designed for outdoor use.
- Opt for weather-resistant, UV-stable coatings to withstand sun, rain, and traffic.

⏳ 4. Apply Thin Coat at first as a primer
- A primer layer improves adhesion and longevity.
- Apply 1 or more thin coats rather than one thick coat — this prevents cracking and ensures even coverage.

🛑 5. Allow Proper Drying and Curing
- Paint only in dry weather with no rain forecast for at least 24 hours.
- Let each coat dry fully before applying the next.
- Avoid foot or vehicle traffic until the paint has cured completely.
