Today we give recognition to a dedicated Legend of the game Jeff Tigere, a solid flanker in his glory days who gave his all for club and country. Jeff made his debut for Old Miltonians in 1998 against Harare Sports Club, a game in which his performance earned him the man of the match, a game to date which stands out as his most memorable.

Jeff played for the Zimbabwe Sables earning 35 caps to his name between 1998-2008, he represented the Cheetahs in 16 tournaments and one 7s Rugby World Cup.

His trade took him to Germany were he turned out for Rudergesellschaft Heidelberg (RGH) rugby Club. Jeff won two German league Championships, five 7s Championships and one German Cup.

After he hung up his boots he turned to coaching the same club he had played for, were he has won one German Cup and five 7s Championships with the Mens team and won two Provincial 7s Championships. In charge of the ladies team he won one 7s German Cup with the ladies team. A true servant of the game.
