🌱 Empowering Youth for Sustainable Food Consumption in Zambia 🌱

Green Nature is proud to have participated in the successful launch of the Youth Voices for Sustainable Food Fellowship, organised by CUTS International with support from GIZ, from 14–16 July 2026 in Chipata, Eastern Province.

The three-day workshop brought together 40 young people, alongside key stakeholders including the Chipata City Council , National Food and Nutrition Commission (NFNC), Chipata Dzitandizeni Nutrition Group, and Green Nature, to strengthen youth leadership in sustainable food systems and agrifood entrepreneurship.

Facilitated by Dr. Kapalu, the workshop equipped participants with practical knowledge on sustainable food systems, entrepreneurship, financial management, record keeping, and the FAO Four Betters Framework, while inspiring each fellow to develop innovative business ideas that will be nurtured throughout the six-month fellowship.

As Green Nature, we are honoured to contribute to initiatives that empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to build resilient food systems, promote sustainable livelihoods, and drive positive environmental change in our communities.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Consumer Unity Trust Society - CUTS Lusaka and GIZ Zambia for their commitment to investing in youth, and to all stakeholders whose collaboration made this important initiative a success.

Together, we are nurturing the next generation of leaders for a more sustainable and food-secure Zambia.
