Throw back to Dr. Daria Mejnartowicz's visit. She generously donated a sewing machine to one of our women's group. We had a brief session on how to make re-usable pads.

We now need to support the women to go to tailoring school and we look forward using of this amazing gift!

Daria Mejnartowicz culminated her visit with us in Samfya with a sports day, gave some prizes and a school donation. The community came out and we played volleyball, badminton, some wider and bonded. What fun we had!

A hands on approach to learning and information sharing on breast cancer with the wonderful community in Mabo K***a; about 47Km from Samfya town. We were lucky to catch the women on their antenatal day and worked through what you need to feel for during your self examination. Health personnel were on hand to encourage the women to seek medical and professional advice as early as possible.
