There is a special kind of energy that fills the air when purpose meets action. Right now, the Wuchi Wami team is on the ground in the North-Western parts of Zambia, working hand in hand with rural communities and witnessing transformation unfold in real time.

Wuchi Wamiโ€™s mission goes beyond skills transfer.

We are deeply committed to sustainable beekeeping practices. Our approach ensures that communities understand that successful beekeeping does not require cutting down trees. Instead, we promote methods that protect forests, preserve biodiversity, and work in harmony with nature. In doing so, communities become custodians of their environment while building livelihoods that can last for generations.

At the heart of this work is economic empowerment, Beekeeping is opening doors to income generation, enabling families to put food on the table, meet daily needs, and crucially, send their children to school. Each hive represents more than honey, it represents dignity, opportunity, and a pathway out of poverty.

We are proud that through these initiatives, Wuchi Wami is actively contributing to several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including:

Every conversation, every training session, and every hive set up tells a story of resilience and possibility. At Wuchi Wami, we believe that when communities are empowered with the right knowledge and tools, they donโ€™t just survive, they thrive!

And this is only the beginning. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿฏ

Our strategic takeaway from the Trade Mission to the Luanda International Trade-fair Angola- FILDA 2025

We were privileged to be among the 15 businesses that participated in the trade mission to Angola representing Wuchi Wami was our managing director Harry Mulesu Malichi.

Being in a new market always makes us curious to understand the behavior of these markets, the culture of its people to drive consumption and just their policies/willingness to govern international trade.

Angola has an approx population of 35million and 25 million are all in Luanda. They speak one language which is Portuguese. They are also heavy on imports. We fell in love with it and happy to know that soon the Lobito corridor will be functional and more trade will happen between the two nations and Wuchi Wami is deliberate about trading with Angola.

Our greatest thanks goes to Zambia Development Agency and @ Ministry of commerce for facilitating this mission.

Africa is one and itโ€™s markets are one ๐Ÿ’ช
