11 years ago in Israel, I stood on Mt Arbel with 180 ministry leaders from 53 different countries.
Mt Arbel is where many believe Jesus gave his disciples the Great Commission.

As we all stood there and heard a sermon on Matthew 28:18-20 after 10 days of seeing the sites and hearing insights into the life and ministry of Jesus, my heart was burning within me.

From the top of that mountain, it’s almost as though I could see the nations and hear the words of Jesus echoing in my ears.

It was in that moment that the Holy Spirit gave me the greenlight to take the ministry of Dare 2 Share | Youth Ministry global.

It was also on that trip that Don Olding from South Africa had been prodding and prompting us to do just that. He and several other global leaders told us they were already using many of our materials. God used his relentless challenges to have a broader view of the kingdom. For years before Dave Gibson had been driving that same message into my soul.

You see, for 25 years we had been exclusively focused on the 🇺🇸. We had run massive conferences from coast to coast, training hundreds of thousands of American teenagers to share their faith. But it was on this mountain that God lifted my eyes to the global fields that they were ripe, all ready for harvest.

Immediately after the Holy Spirit gave me the go ahead, I ran over to Debbie English Bresina, who’s been with Dare 2 Share since the beginning, and Doug Holliday, our good friend who invited us both to go to Israel with him, and I told them what God was doing in my heart.

Since then, God has opened up massive doors for global ministry impact. Last year through The Day of Global Youth Evangelism we were privileged to train 298,000 teenagers from 6700 churches in 87 countries. And, through our free training curriculum that is now available globally and a huge array of amazing ministry partners, tens of millions of teenagers across the world are hearing the gospel.

There are one billion teenagers in the world. We won’t stop until every teen everywhere hears the gospel from a friend.
