ADVERT – HANDYMAN (ELECTRIAN/PLUMBER)
Handmaid Sisters Lodge is a hospitality service establishment priding itself in providing excellent accommodation and other services in the heart of the tourist capital, Livingstone.
We are situated along airport road and about 2kms from the airport and a kilometer from the CBD.
We are looking for a skilled and matured Electrician/Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, plumbing and general maintenance works.
Key duties and responsibilities

Providing in-house maintenance of all electrical appliances.
Perform electrical installations, repairs and maintenance, including wiring and troubleshooting
Examining electrical installations and determining faults and state of repairs required.
Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures and appliances.
Ability to handle general maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting and minor repairs
Ensuring compliance to the health, safety and environment standards and policy.

Preferred candidate qualifications and experience

Must have a grade 12 certificate
Must have a trade electrical and plumbing certificate/diploma or better from a Teveta accredited institution.
Minimum of three(3) years’ experience in a similar environment
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Ability to use own initiative to solve problems and be able to work with minimum supervision and at times under pressure
Adaptable and team focused and be able to work rotational shift patterns at times.
