Meet Sim Kayzo:

Born Innocent Simukoko in Luanshya and raised in Mufulira, Sim Kayzo is a Zambian rapper known for his soulful and thought provoking music. He began his education at Eagle International School before moving on to Buyantanshi Secondary School. In 2024, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, balancing his academic journey with a deep passion for music.

Sim Kayzo launched his music career in 2019, driven by a desire to create impactful content that sheds light on life’s struggles and social realities. His music, often described as conscious and heartfelt, has connected with listeners through its sincerity and depth. Among his popular songs are “Sunga Umoyo,” “Chikondi,” and “I Wanna Know.”

His latest release, an EP titled Melancholy Nights, was produced by King Nachi at KNB Records. The project includes standout tracks such as “Unjelele” and “Nikusiye,” highlighting Sim Kayzo’s evolution as an artist and his talent for storytelling through music.

Over the years, he has collaborated with prominent names in the Zambian music scene, including Izrael, Daev Zambia, Petersen, Triciah Zm, Willz Mr. Nyopole, and Trina South. These collaborations have helped him sharpen his artistry and broaden his musical perspective.
