Today, Proactive Community Action (PCA) proudly joins the global community in commemorating World Health Day 2026 under the theme, “Together for health: Stand with science.”

As an organization committed to promoting community well-being, PCA recognizes that achieving better health outcomes requires collective effort, informed decision-making, and a strong reliance on scientific knowledge. This year’s theme reminds us that health is not an individual pursuit, but a shared responsibility that calls for collaboration among communities, institutions, and nations.

In our communities, we continue to witness the importance of evidence-based approaches in addressing health challenges such as access to healthcare, disease prevention, and health education. By standing with science, we empower individuals with accurate information, encourage healthy behaviors, and strengthen systems that support long-term well-being.

PCA remains dedicated to advocating for inclusive health interventions, supporting vulnerable populations, and promoting awareness on key health issues affecting our society. We believe that when communities are informed and united, they become stronger and more resilient.

As we mark this important day, let us all commit to working together, trusting science, and building healthier communities for generations to come.

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence 2025

Theme: “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls”

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an annual global campaign that runs from 25 November to 10 December, calling individuals, communities, and institutions worldwide to take action in ending all forms of gender-based violence.
This year’s theme, “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls,” highlights the urgent need to address online abuse, cyberbullying, digital harassment, non-consensual sharing of intimate images, and other forms of technology-facilitated violence.

In today’s world, digital platforms have become central to education, communication, and economic participation. However, they also serve as spaces where women and girls face increasing levels of harm. Online violence not only affects emotional well-being but also limits meaningful participation in digital spaces. The 2025 theme urges all stakeholders to create safer online environments, strengthen digital literacy, promote accountability, and challenge harmful behaviors rooted in gender inequality.

While this year’s theme focuses on women and girls, it is equally important to recognize that violence affects individuals of all genders. Boys and men also experience physical, emotional, and psychological abuse, often in silence due to stigma and societal expectations.
I stand in solidarity with all survivors of violence, regardless of gender, and acknowledge the need for inclusive support systems that protect every person’s dignity, safety, and rights.

I pledge to stand firmly against all forms of intimate partner violence.
I commit myself to promoting respect, safety, and non-violence in all relationships, both offline and online. I will raise awareness, support survivors, challenge harmful attitudes, and use every platform available to advocate for equality and justice.
I choose to be part of the solution today and every day.
