"Fear not, for I am with you, may be some of the most comforting words in the Bible. There is something about togetherness that pushes away the fear and darkness in our lives. Loneliness leads to depression, hurt, anger, and darkness. Lean into Jesus. He is there for you and take time to connect with his people. This life was not meant to be lived out alone.

The hopes of the godly result in happiness, but the expectations of the wicked come to nothing. -Proverbs 10:28

"Life is serious enough we need to be reminded to laugh together to help ease the tension that life can bring. Laughter is a great reminder of the joy of being together. In the Bible, Nehemiah, encourages the people by telling them that the joy of the Lord is their strength. Strength is not found in being so busy or so put together that you don’t have time to crack a smile. Strength comes when we slow down long enough to experience God’s joy in our lives. If you are at your brink, pause and remember the last time you laughed. Commit to doing things that bring smiles to your faces together again.

Jesus is alive and the essence of who he is has not changed. This is why we can rely on the words of the Bible to guide us because the person that inspired these stories and that came and walked this Earth still is. We do not have to doubt his nature because he shares his heart and mission with us freely through the Bible. Study the Word and learn more about our forever Savior.
