NZOVU MOURNS VETERAN COMMUNITY LEADER RODWELL SHACHIPOLA

UPND aspiring Member of Parliament for Nangoma Constituency, Eng. Collins Nzovu, today joined family members, traditional leaders and residents of Kezwa Ward in mourning the late Acting Headman Mukubu, Rodwell Shachipola, who passed away at the age of over 90 years.

Speaking during the funeral service in Mukubu Village, Eng. Nzovu described the late Shachipola as a respected leader who dedicated his life to serving and developing his community.

He conveyed condolences and greetings from President Hakainde Hichilema and First Lady Mutinta Hichilema to the bereaved family.

“God is the giver of life, and He alone determines our time on earth. Our elder lived for more than 90 years and leaves behind a legacy of service, unity and development,” Eng. Nzovu said.

He urged mourners to celebrate the life of the deceased, describing him as a symbol of wisdom and community leadership.

The late Acting Headman Mukubu, Rodwell Shachipola, will be remembered for his dedication to community development and his lasting contribution to Mukubu Village and Nangoma Constituency.
