The Uni Guide
THE MISSING INGREDIENT TO YOUR ACADEMIC SUCCESS
22/05/2026
5 things your lecturer will never tell you—but The Uni Guide will:
1. Reading the question is a skill. Most students lose marks before they even start writing. Slow down. Read it twice.
2. Structure is half the mark. An average answer in a clear structure beats a brilliant answer in a mess.
3. Lecturers can tell when you haven't referenced properly. Don't copy — cite. It protects you and shows you know your work.
4. Office hours are free mentorship. Most students never go. The ones who do—they stand out.
5. Starting is always the hardest part. Write one sentence. Just one. The rest follows.
Save this. Share it with the student who needs it tonight.

Nobody is coming to save you at 11pm the night before submission.
Not your lecturer. Not your group mate who "will send their part soon." Not luck.
But here is what I have learned from every student I have mentored:
The panic you feel tonight? It is not a sign that you are failing. It is a sign that you care. And students who care—when they get the right system—they always find a way.
So instead of scrolling, do this right now:
1. Open a blank document.
2. Write your name and the assignment title.
3. Write ONE thing you already know about the topic.
You have started. That is the hardest part — and you just did it.
Now keep going. I am right here.
