UNDERSTANDING SEASONS
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)


Life is not static. God works through seasons. Just as nature has spring, summer, autumn, and winter, our spiritual lives also go through different seasons. Many people become discouraged because they expect every season to look the same. But understanding your season helps you respond wisely instead of reacting emotionally.

EVERY SEASON IS APPOINTED BY GOD
Ecclesiastes 3:1

No season catches God by surprise. Whether it is a season of abundance or scarcity, celebration or waiting, God remains in control.
Don't compare your season with someone else's. God has a unique timetable for every believer.

EVERY SEASON HAS A PURPOSE
Romans 8:28 (KJV)
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God..."

God never wastes a season. Seasons of waiting build patience. Seasons of testing build faith. Seasons of blessing reveal His goodness.
Example: Joseph experienced the pit, slavery, prison and then the palace. Each season prepared him for leadership.

DISCERN THE SEASON YOU ARE IN
1 Chronicles 12:32 (KJV)
"...men that had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do..."

EVERY SEASON HAS AN END
Psalm 30:5 (KJV)
"...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."
No difficult season lasts forever. God's timing is perfect.

THE SONS OF ISSACHAR UNDERSTOOD THE TIMES
1 Chronicles 12:32

There is a difference between knowing Scripture and discerning God's timing. Pray for wisdom to recognize when God is saying:
Wait.
Move.
Build.
Rest.
Let go.

Don't despise small beginnings.
Don't rush God's timing.
Remain faithful in every season.
Trust God's process even when you don't understand it.
Praise God in every season.

Every season carries a lesson, a purpose, and a promise. If you remain faithful, the same God who walks with you through the valley will also lead you to the mountaintop.
