Hello fellow farmers! I'm a beginner onion farmer and did well during the dry season. Now I'm starting my first rainfed onion , and I need your advice!I'm looking for help with:
-Suitable fungicides and insecticides for the rainy season.
-When and how to apply fertilizer

Any special tips for rainfed production
I keep hearing that OPV onions without sets are tough to grow during the rains.
I'd really appreciate ongoing guidance from planting until harvest. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated

Farmers, don’t be misled by the high market demand of a product. Sometimes the demand is high because of low production or a short-lived spike that won’t last.

Before you jump into farming any crop or livestock based on market hype, take time to study at least 6 months of market trends. Look at both the actual demand and the production costs before making a decision.

Unless you have a solid contract in place, avoid rushing into production based on temporary market excitement.
