The Book Bus Zambia

Day 2 of our April Holiday Clubs at Mukuba University and Children of Bethlehem School was both engaging and inspiring. Learners were immersed in a variety of storybooks centered on the theme “Persistence and Determination.” Through these stories, they explored the value of resilience, hard work, and staying committed to their goals despite challenges.

The sessions were lively and interactive, with learners eagerly participating in discussions, sharing their thoughts, and connecting the stories to real-life experiences. It was encouraging to see their enthusiasm and growing confidence as they expressed themselves.

The turnout was truly overwhelming, reflecting the strong interest and excitement surrounding the program. We are grateful for the continued support and look forward to even more impactful moments in the days ahead.

Reading shouldn’t hit pause just because school’s out. That’s why The Book Bus Holiday Clubs are a true game-changer. During school breaks, these engaging sessions pop up across our project sites, giving children the opportunity to keep their reading momentum alive. Through fun, interactive activities and storytelling, children continue to build literacy skills while developing confidence, creativity, and a love for books.

As schools close for the 2026 April holidays, The Book Bus is excited to host its 2026 Holiday Clubs under the inspiring theme “𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.” These sessions are designed to motivate young learners while keeping them meaningfully engaged during the break.
