🚨 CHOLERA ALERT – PROTECT YOUR FAMILY 🚨

Cholera is a dangerous diarrhoeal disease that spreads through dirty water and contaminated food. It can affect anyone and may cause death within hours if not treated early.

⚠️ Know the Signs
• Frequent watery diarrhoea
• Vomiting
• Body weakness
• Severe dehydration (dry mouth, sunken eyes)

👉 If someone has these symptoms, rush them to the nearest health facility immediately.

🛡️ How to Prevent Cholera

✔️ Drink boiled or treated water
✔️ Wash hands with soap and clean water (after toilet & before eating)
✔️ Use clean toilets/latrines
✔️ Wash fruits and vegetables properly
✔️ Eat food while it is hot and well cooked

It can cause fever, headache, chills, vomiting and weakness.

✅ How to Prevent Malaria
• Sleep under a treated mosquito net
• Spray your house
• Clear stagnant water
• Cut bushes around the home
• Wear long clothes in the evening
• Use mosquito repellent

• Children under 5
• Pregnant women
• People with weak immunity
