Types of Disclosure

1. Non disclosure, client does not disclose status to anyone.

2. Partial disclosure, the client only tells certain people about his or her status for example the spouse , a relative, a counselor or a friend. The information revealed might be full or partial.

3. Full disclosure, the client publicly reveals his or her status. The information might be fully revealed to individuals, a group of people or an organization.

4. False disclosure, client tells individuals or the public false information for example if the client tested HIV positive, the instead tells people that he or she tested negative.

5. Shared confidentiality, disclosure upon condition that the person revealed to will not tell others, unless specific permission is given.

6. Voluntary disclosure, client voluntarily shares information about his or her HIV status. This may be a partial disclosure.

7. Involuntary disclosure, a client's status is revealed without his or her approval.

ABSTINENCE
Did you know that abstinence is about delaying s*xual activity? Abstaining or delaying unprotected s*xual in*******se is the best way a young person can protect themselves from HIV infection.

B- BE TESTED AND BE FAITHFUL
S*xually activity young people need to know their partners HIV status by going together to have an HIV test . To protect each other from HIV infection they need to be 100% faithful to each other if they are not using condoms every time they are having s*xual in*******se.

C- CONDOMIZE
S*xually activity young people who want to avoid HIV infection, s*xually transmitted infections and pregnancy need to practice the three C's
Correct, consistent, condom use - this means using a male or female condom correctly , every time you have s*xual in*******se.
