When you pray in the Spirit two things happen.
1. You articulate a perfect prayer for the situation.
2. You edify and build up yourself.

These two benefits occur even though you do not understand what you are saying. Third benefit comes when you ask God for the interpretation

We run into trouble in ministry when we silence the voice of our conscience to do things that seem to generate results in a faster way. When we think the established "old" way of doing things is now outdated and we are now more comfortable with business books than spiritual ones... Selah!
