Paramount Chief Mphezeni praised for development role and media support.

The late Ngwenyama Inkhosi yamakhosi has been praised for his contribution to development and cultural preservation in Eastern Province and Zambia at large.

Speaking during a courtesy message delivered at Ephendukeni Palace yesterday, Breeze FM Managing Director Michael Daka expressed gratitude for the warm reception he received when he first visited the palace in 2002, shortly after relocating from Lusaka to set up the radio station.

Mr. Daka said he was well received and appreciated the support given by the Ngwenyama, his subjects, and people across Eastern Province, which has enabled Breeze FM to effectively carry out its mandate over the years.

He noted that the radio station has now operated for 24 years, describing the milestone as significant in the station’s journey of service to the public.

Mr. Daka further thanked the traditional leadership for blessing not only Breeze FM but also government institutions, companies, and various organizations that have gone to work in the region.

He said the Paramount Chief Mphezeni has played a key role in helping the Ngoni people understand their culture and traditions, contributing to cultural preservation and identity.

Mr. Daka added that the traditional leader has left a positive legacy across Eastern Province and Zambia through his support for development initiatives that have improved livelihoods.

He concluded by expressing deep appreciation to the Ngwenyama Inkhosi yamakhosi for his leadership and service to the nation.
