The 2020 Kulamba Traditional Ceremony of the Chewa people of Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia has been canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Kalonga Gawa Undi announced this through Kulamba Organizing Committee chairperson, Chief Mbangombe.
He says holding the ceremony would put lives of thousands of people at a serious risk, as Kulamba involves three countries.
Meanwhile, committee invitations and publicity chairperson, Lucas Phiri, says Kalonga Gawa Undi is advising people to follow the preventive guidelines.
Mr. Phiri indicated that Kalonga Gawa Undi says this is the only way people will avoid contracting the coronavirus.
He also explained that alot of people seem to be doubting the existance of covid-19 pandemic is really there.

She doesn't seem to care about the different political parties because she knows that she is a mother for all.

All she is hoping for is light at the end of the tunnel.
