MOTORIST KILLS MONGU MAN, INJURES BOY, FLEES THE SCENE

An accident has just occurred at Miulwe village along Mongu-Lusaka road.

A male pedestrian believed to be in his fifties has been hit by a black Toyota Noah killing him instantly.

Another casualty, a 14-year-old boy whose name is unknown, has sustained head injuries and by broadcast time the juvenile was yet to receive help.

The unidentified driver has reportedly fled the scene and it is not clear the direction he took.

The police will likely issue a statement on the tragic incident.
