MOSAIC: Support Heal Train
Every survivor’s journey depends on decisions made long before they ask for help.
The relationships between practitioners. The strength of referral pathways. The willingness of institutions to work together.
Day Two of the SAFE-PR Cape Metro Regional Assembly focused on exactly that—moving beyond conversation towards collective action. Practitioners confronted shared challenges, developed solutions together and made commitments that will strengthen the local system long after the Assembly has ended.
This is what collective impact looks like. Thank you to Community House for hosting us💜

Systems don’t change because people work harder. They change because people work together!
Day One of the SAFE-PR Cape Metro Regional Assembly brought together practitioners from across Philippi, Mitchell’s Plain and Paarl to strengthen the relationships behind survivor-centred care.
Together, we reflected on the values that unite us, launched the SAFE Practitioner Guide, explored the realities of our local response to domestic violence, and challenged ourselves to think beyond individual mandates towards a stronger, more coordinated system. Throughout the day, conversations centred on trust, collaboration and collective impact, recognising that every practitioner, institution and referral pathway plays a role in creating safety for survivors.
Day One reminded us that meaningful change begins when we share knowledge, build relationships and commit to working as one local system.
