COSAS DR RSM RTT COORDINATOR CDE MOSIMANEGAPE LITHOKO TO VISIT GELUKSOORD PRIMIERE SKOOL FOLLOWING THE DEATH OF A GRADE 7 LEARNER.

COSAS Dr RSM RTT Coordinator, Cde Mosimanegape Lithoko, will visit, Geluksoord Primiere Skool in Geluksoord Township-Christiana, following the tragic passing of a Grade 7 learner, on Friday 17th October 2025.

The RTT Coordinator will subsequently pay a courtesy visit to the family of the deceased learner to extend condolences.

PUBLIC STATEMENT BY THE CONGRESS OF SOUTH AFRICAN STUDENTS SUPPORTING THE DEMONSTRATION OF ANC YL JOHNNY PITSO BRANCH AS THEY MARCH FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SECONDARY SCHOOL AND INTRODUCTION OF ENGLISH AT CHRISTIANA GEKOBINEERD SKOOL ON THE 15th OF MAY 2025

The Congress of South African Students DR Ruth Segomotsi Mompati Regional Task Team outraged and deeply disturbed by the the only one high school in Christiana and the disrespecting the Implementation of BELA BILL.

Reality of this matter is that it become difficult for learners to focus In a class that accommodate more than 45 learners and difficult for teachers to control them. Majority of learners compromised their careers and dreams by choosing the streams that they do not work for them. Particularly those who are in and from Kromelemboog Combide School, they do those stream with out passion. This is one of the reasons why Kromelemboog Combi School managed to obtain less than 50% matric pass rate last year.

In implementation of BELA BILL ,the management of Christiana Gekebineerd Skool they are haily undermining the decision that has been taken by the government of South Africa. COSAS is very clear,we demand all subject at Gekebineerd Skool to be though in English as it stated on the BELA BILL.

Cosas in Dr RSM calls all learners From Lerona Secondary, Kromelemboog Combide,Monthusi Primary school,Kwala Kitso together with the community and teachers to come with their majority and join the march as we are going to fight for a school and implementation of BELA ,that will benefit our siblings, friends, children, and the incoming Generation. It will also benefit the community because there will be creation of jobs opportunities .
