Dear GXCC Family,

Well... it turns out that Club Secretaries are human after all! 😅

When we planned the 2026 calendar, I originally proposed 1 August, but ultimately 8 August was allocated to us. Somewhere between my brain and my keyboard, I confidently published 1 August instead. 🤦‍♀️

By the time I realised my little "masterpiece", other championships had already secured the surrounding dates. We have tried to swap dates with other series and motorsport facets, but unfortunately no suitable solution could be found, as key service providers, such as our timekeeper, are also involved with these events and facets.

The good news is that we've submitted an alternative date to MSA, most likely in November, and we'll announce it as soon as it's officially approved.

This means our next GXCC event will now be on 5 September. We will publish venues as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support. I promise I'm much better at organising races than proofreading calendars! 😅
