Introduction

Our client in the clearing and forwarding sector seeks an experienced Sales Executive.

Minimum Requirements

Matriculated;
Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales in the Freight and Logistics field.
Must have an understanding of selling the concept of Clearing and Forwarding and overborder transport.
Valid driver's license.

Job Specification
Sales Executive

Must be able to source sales leads, analysing markets and routes.
Visit potential and clients to explain the services offered and understand the clients requirements and freight specifications.
Present estimates and proposals, verbally and in writing.
Negotiate rates.
Facilitate credit applications and submit for approval. Set up client requirement forms and standard operating procedures together with clients to eliminate grey areas.
Establish if clients requirements have been met, and discuss problems/concerns regarding services provided; Assist client in
Inform clients of any changes relevant to business, customs procedures, rate changes, etc.
Understand company service charge rates.
Present estimates and proposals.
Acquire new business.
Visit clients on regular basis, and report back on weekly activities.

Our client in the Ship repair industry is seeking a well experienced Human Resources Manager.

Minimum Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Degree/Diploma.
Minimum of 5 years senior management experience.

Job Specification

Excellent knowledge of the BCEA, LRA, EE, SDL. OSHACT. etc
Excellent understanding of human resources management, recruitment & selection, training and development, performance managemenr, industrial relations, employee assistance and welfare, remuneration and benefits, human resources information systems, audit requirments, etc
Good Knowledge of payroll software.
Good understanding of human resources principles and best practice approaches to support key management objectives relating to the development, alignment and implementation of policies and procedures and employment interventions.
Good Understanding of the relevant ststutory acts
Extensive experience in preparing HR departmental and salary budgets, forecasting and reporting.
