This system spent almost a year in our care.

The client contacted us initially because everyone told him to scrap it, but we were willing to take a look.

It was completely dead with no sign of life due to motherboard failure.

After a long repair attempt and delays waiting for sub components we finally had to abandon the repair and started looking for replacement motherboards.

ASUS had an attrative price but once we tried to order they send a new quote for almost double the price.

We placed an order from parts resellers in China, but were advised that they cannot ship it because the unit was deemed faulty in testing. Another Chinese reseller refused to ship their stock to us because the version of their unit was different from ours so we were told it will not be compatible.

The client accepted the ASUS quote and we gave the go ahead to order the unit. The first unit was dead on arrival causing more delays, but luckily the team arranged another unit which brought the machine back to life!
