NO ROOM TO HIDE FOR ALLEGED NEWARK KILLER

The fourth suspect in the ghastly April 21st murder of seven family members in Newark has been arrested by KwaDukuza detectives.
Ilembe District police spokesperson Priya Nunkumar said the 24-year-old suspect was successfully traced to a hideout in Durban on Tuesday, 23rd June 2026 – the very same day his three co-accused were making their second appearance at the KwaDukuza Magistrate’s Court.
Nunkumar says charges of kidnapping, house robbery and murder have been opened against the suspect.
“The other three suspects involved in the murder have appeared in KwaDukuza Magistrates Court on 23 June 2026, and have been remanded in custody for their formal bail hearing. The three suspects, aged 21, 26 and 28, have been charged with multiple charges, which include murder of seven people of the Monswamy family, kidnapping and rape,” Nunkumar stated.
Police have also recovered the vehicle used in the commission of the heinous crime, Nunkumar added.
