Heavenly Father, thank You that You have specific plans and a unique assignment for my life; good works prepared in advance for me to walk in. Help me to lay aside every weight and sin that distracts, and to run with endurance the race You have set before me. Help me fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith, setting my heart on things above rather than the distractions of this world. Holy Spirit, teach me to value Your mission above my own comfort, to forget what is behind and press toward the heavenly goal You have called me to. May I finish my race well, fully carrying out the assignment I received from the Lord Jesus. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
