W H O C A N R E L A T E?

Who else has the deeply held belief that anything worth having first comes from suffering? Not that I equate gym with suffering anymore but I still feel as though I can't have breakfast before I get some kind of movement in.

That the good things in life come from hard work? Or when something amazing and sudden happens, I can't receive it with grace because I'm waiting for the other show to drop.

Or that you first need to be, do or have one thing to have another?

Definitely me 🙋 This year I realized that my Anglo-Saxon Private School education has spilled over into my spiritual life and personal development: I have always entertained chanting longer, stretching deeper, suffer a little extra in the pursuit of enlightenment as being worthy of it.

Somewhere along the path, I discovered 'vibrational alignment' another idea that says if you keep your vibration positively in alignment with what you want you will attain it.

Helpful... Because it liberated me from the work hard | play harder mentality, only to imprison me in another way: I become deathly afraid of thinking negatively or evening entertaining what we perceive to be negative emotion. I would deny feelings of dissatisfaction and discomfort, I would override my intuition and worst of all I became prone to magical thinking!
