JOB SPEC – SENIOR HYBRID PROJECT MANAGER
A new initiative by one of the world’s largest food and beverage companies is to build a global content studio for Africa. This company is at the forefront of a new wave of advertising, one that understands and responds to the demands of the digital world in 2021 and beyond.
One of the main tasks will be localizing campaigns and content for the various business. The studio will focus on content adaptation, creation, and rollout of assets for Cluster 6 - ESAR. The in-house agency will be treated as a start-up agency, with a focus on creating rich, dynamic, and engaging content quickly.
Overview
The Digital Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management, operation, and delivery for more than one digital project simultaneously. Their key objective is to provide end-to-end project management, including scope, budget, detailed planning, and monitoring of project progress. Building and managing the client relationships would be your responsibility for all projects/business units within the split of accounts that have been allocated to you.
The Digital Project Manager will facilitate collaboration with internal teams to design, develop and implement project plans on time and on budget. Scope of work will include Website development, App development, social media activities, and other digital innovations.
Qualifications/ Experience
Must have worked at a previous agency/agencies across the different departments (finance, strategy, creative, project management, freelancers, other agencies, media companies).
Matric
Diploma or relevant tertiary qualifications in project management
Experience in Project Management tools: Monday.com, Chase, Microsoft office, content hub, Getty/iStock image banks
Digital Marketing knowledge and experience
6+ years related experience with digital products deployments and preferably delivery within the FMCG market
Digital fundamentals in SEO, UX as well as an understanding of web analytics and data insights (optional)
Personality
Creative, fun, and energetic
Strategically minded communicator to collaborate with various stakeholders
Very Organized, result-oriented professional
Self-motivated, organized, and passionate
Team player to a group of young individuals
Good time-management skills
Proactive is persuasive, and promotes strong business and revising skills

Responsibilities
Project
Define a clear timeline for each digital product request and ensure projects are delivered within the given timeline
Setup meetings internally (for reviews and strategy) team and externally
Liaise with the studio manager on resource bookings and capacity daily
Agile methodology across many projects simultaneously
Ensure that resources who are booked on projects are delivered on time - includes follow up directly with internal staff across the day
Time and resource management is critically important
Ensure the scope of work per business unit is abided too
Innovation and best practice ideas
Negotiation skills
Drive monday.com and ensure time tracking for your projects
Update the weekly status schedule
Ensure open files and assets are saved on the google drive in a folder structure
When presenting to clients ensure that the CreativeX report and assets are on Content Hub for client approvals
Management of your projects between the internal studio team members, external stakeholders, media partners, and other agencies
Quick thinker and problem solver
Ability to strive under pressure
Ensure internal reviews and strategy team meet deadlines as per project plan
Reporting in line with the studio manager on a monthly basis
Work overtime as and when necessary to ensure project deadlines are not missed

Team player with strong communications skills that works well under pressure and delivers quality work aligned within the project scope
Take accountability for all actions and lead with your design knowledge
DTP your projects in line with the copywriter, designer, and creative director
Fosters a spirit of teamwork and camaraderie within the assigned team and/or freelancers
