Running related injuries are extremely prevalent.

Unfortunately little evidence exists in the long term management of these conditions. This is why accurate measurement of patients progress is of utmost importance!

Treatment of these conditions also needs to be highly individualized and a multi-modal approach is often required!

Risk factors are simply that.. Risk factors and may or may not be part of the cause of the patients pain. These include internal and external factors such as (but not limited to)

⚫Age/obesity/autoimmune conditions
⚫Abnormal biomechanics/muscle inflexibility
⚫Training errors
⚫Medications
⚫Environmental factors ie training surfaces
⚫ Improper footwear
