Walking more is the easiest path to improving health.

Depending on your current daily step count, it is recommended to walk anywhere between 7500 and 10 000 steps per day.

You can gradually increase your daily steps by 500 to 1000 each week.

If you are new to walking, start by adding five minutes of walking each day. Once you are comfortable with that, add another five minutes. Continue this pattern until you are walking the recommended amount of steps.

If you are already walking the recommended amount of steps, try adding a brisk walk to your routine. A brisk walk is when you walk at a pace that raises your heart rate and makes you breathe harder than normal.
