1,100 TONS OF BAGGED BAUXITE
In April 2021 we received 1100 tons of Bauxite which we imported from Turkey. The product was packed in 1,5t bulk bags in 39 x 20ft shipping containers, which were off-loaded in Durban, and then delivered to our customer on a DDP basis, some 800km inland from the port.

MV MOONBEAM
Together with International Materials LLC, we shipped over 52,000 tons of natural gypsum on board the MV Moonbeam to Durban. Over 43,000 tons of this cargo was delivered directly to 4 customers on a DAP basis, sold in local ZAR currency. Deliveries were made to 7 different inland manufacturing plants, located as far as 850km from Durban. 1300 x 35t trucks moved the cargo over a combined delivery distance of nearly 5,000km. All deliveries were completed within 30 days of discharge of the cargo.

MV DRAFTDODGER
NEXUS Intertrade in partnership with International Materials LLC has successfully imported another Supramax natural gypsum shipment of 57,000 tons into Durban Harbour in November 2019.
