What an incredible achievement! Today, we celebrate not only your graduation from the University of Johannesburg with a qualification in Public Relations and Communication Management, but also the remarkable young professional you have become.
From your days as an intern to now becoming a graduate, it has been a privilege to witness your growth, dedication, and resilience. One thing I'll never forget is the day you attended a stakeholder engagement meeting despite having a terrible toothache! While most people would have stayed home, you showed up, remained professional, and gave your best. That moment perfectly captured your commitment and determination.
Your journey has been filled with hard work, learning, and countless moments of growth, and this milestone is well deserved. The PR and communications industry is gaining a talented, passionate, and hardworking professional, and I have no doubt that you will continue to make a meaningful impact wherever your career takes you.
As your mentor, I am incredibly proud of you. May this graduation be just the beginning of even greater opportunities, exciting adventures, and well-deserved success.
Now go and celebrateโyou've earned it! ๐๐ฅณ
Congratulations once again, Basetsana! The future is bright, and I cannot wait to see all that you accomplish.
Blessings,

Project ID is more than just an initiative โ itโs a gateway to identity, access, and inclusion. Through this project, we assist vulnerable individuals in obtaining their South African identification documents, opening doors to education, employment, healthcare, and social services.
Every ID collected represents a life that can now be seen, heard, and counted.
But we canโt do this alone.
We are calling on partners, donors, volunteers, and organisations to join us in expanding this impact. Whether through funding, resources, skills, or collaboration โ your contribution helps us reach more communities and transform more lives.
Together, we can ensure that no one is left behind.

We are thrilled to share our beautiful journey with Jozi My Jozi and our incredible community.
This journey began during the Point-in-Time Homeless Count. Who could have imagined that one act of kindness and service would ignite so much hope? The darkness on the streets of Jozi was thickโbut so was the determination to restore dignity and reintegrate the homeless and displaced back into society.
Working alongside Jozi My Jozi and various stakeholders, we asked the right questions and, more importantly, we listened. One message echoed loudly and clearly:
Our homeless community desired job opportunities, reconnection with their families, and for many, their IDs to be replaced.
In response, we partnered with Jozi My Jozi during World Homeless Month to host the Dignity Boutique at Constitution Hill.
The spotlight shone on Project ID, where 80+ individuals from different shelters applied for ID reissues through the DHA Mobile Trucks.
And just two weeks later, their IDs were ready for collection!
