Lotshephe Development Engineers a Civil Engineering Consulting company requires the services and expertise of experienced, innovative and dynamic individuals for the following posts:

Resident Engineers
• Civil
• Structural

Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Experience in contract administration and monitoring which includes report writing. Ability to manage construction work in various phases. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

Four (4) or more years relevant experience. ECSA Registered or eligible to registering with ECSA.

Responsibilities
Project planning and documentation
o Site investigations
o Assist in preparing proposal and business plans,
o Checking and verification of allocated project designs
o Assist in preparation of tender documents
Office administration
o Prepare and maintain project files
o Prepare timesheets and vehicle logbook
o Supervise student technicians
Contract administration and construction supervision
o Contract administration
 Prepare daily site inspection records and, weekly and monthly reports
 Prepare meeting agenda and minutes
 Coordinate and chair site and technical meetings
o Construction supervision (monitoring)
 Setup the site office
 Supervise and monitor all construction activities
 Manage programme and cash-flow
 Manage performance of contractor
 Prepare progress payments
 Prepare site instruction and variation orders
Liaise with external clients on technical and non-policy issues.
