Team Mpumalanga has finally arrived in Rustenburg in the North West Province for the start of the Open Summer Games.

They have booked in the Orion Hotel and are getting comfortable for the week of exciting games.

2023 Open summer games are in Rustenburg this year. The six sporting codes for the summer games are: Black ball pool 🎱, cricket 🏏, Hocker, indoor rowing 🚣‍♀️, swimming 🏊‍♂️ and Table tennis 🏓.

All the districts in Mpumalanga started their training and getting their athletes ready for the district trails in January 2023.

Gert Sibande and Nkangala districts did their trails on the 15 February 2023.

Bohlabela and Ehlanzeni districts did their trials on the 22 February 2023.

Well done to the athletes that went through to the Provincial trials that was held at Estralita school.

After a week of exciting sport we have come together again as 7 Provinces to say good bye until next year.
