Air India Flight 171, a Boeing 787, crashed shortly after taking off for Britain, where it was scheduled to land at Gatwick Airport.

Ramesh Viswashkumar will likely be traumatised for the rest of his life.
I can only imagine what went through his mind during those terrifying moments. Scary!

You know, stories like Ramesh's can serve as a reminder to appreciate every moment and never take life for granted.
It is a stark reminder of how fragile life can be and how quickly things can change especially for frequent fliers.

My fear of flying on Boeing planes sometimes feels irrational.
Perhaps it is caused by the fact that the major air crashes I have paid attention to involved Boeing aircraft.
