The initiative intends to reduce the mortality rate of small businesses in the region with an aim of creating a sustainable small business environment. This is the voice for SMEs in the region.

The event is created to serve as a networking platform for start-ups and SMEs in the region, exchange of products and services with the aim of growing trade and GDP of the region. Start-up SADC will be an annual conference taking place in Swakopmund.
