🗺️✨ Learning through play in Grade R–1! ✨🗺️
As part of our Community Theme, our learners took part in a fun and interactive map skills activity led by Teacher Tumi 👩🏽‍🏫💛
Pictures of shared community spaces were placed around a maze, and learners were challenged to work together to find the correct destination! 🤝 Blindfolded learners had to listen carefully while their partners guided them through the maze using directions and arrows ⬅️➡️⬆️⬇️
This exciting activity helped develop:

🤝 Teamwork
🧭 Early map and direction skills

📚✨ A day in the life of a Grade 2–3 student! ✨📚 Today was another fun-filled day of learning and creativity! 🎉
Our learners explored 📏 Measurement, learnt all about coordinating conjunctions ✍️, and got creative by created their own Totem Poles 🎨🪶 as part of our North America theme. Now they know 🤔 that Totem Poles were traditionally found in Western Canada, North America! 🍁🌎

We took our number lines outdoors today - soaking up the sunshine while jumping, stepping, and counting our way through Maths! Twos and threes have never been this fun… learning, moving, and laughing all at once. 🌿
