Technical Support:

· Provide technical support for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of desktop hardware and software.
· Provide remote support where applicable.
· Assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of desktops and laptops.
· Collaborate with and support team members in resolving requests and faults.
· Support the procurement of hardware and software as required.
· Maintain effective working relationships with users, colleagues, and software vendors.
· Provide off-site support when required.
· Provide users with proactive updates on the progress of outstanding calls.

Logging of Calls:

· Review, edit, and assign all calls received by the Call Centre appropriately.
· Use Service Desk (Xurrent) to record and track all support requests reported telephonically or through walk-in queries.
· Respond to incidents within the agreed SLA or within an appropriate timeframe, applying the required level of urgency and following up with users on all issues.
· Resolve calls within the agreed SLA.
· Escalate incidents and queries to the appropriate team members where necessary.
· Update calls daily to ensure accurate and current records.
· Ensure the ticket queue is effectively managed and maintained at a minimum.
· Ensure all required supporting documentation is attached to the relevant calls and properly authorised.

Network:
· Perform basic network troubleshooting as required. · Assist with the maintenance and support of telecommunications infrastructure.

Advisory:
· Provide the IT Manager with advice and recommendations on information technology requirements.

Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with Group IT rules and regulations.
