CONTINUES WITH WINTER RELIEF & VOTER REGISTRATION DRIVE ACROSS COMMUNITIES – JUNE TO JULY 2026
Pretoria, [17/06/2026] – As winter tightens its grip across the country, is continuing to provide immediate relief to vulnerable communities while also championing electorate participation. continues a two‑month Winter Comfort & Voter Action Programme, running throughout June and July 2026 in multiple communities. The initiative has two core pillars:
1. Emergency winter relief – soup kitchens, blanket and clothing distribution.
2. Voter registration encouragement – empowering residents to register for the upcoming Local Government Elections.

Recognising that long‑term change requires active citizenship, volunteers will be on the ground at every winter programme location to assist community members with voter registration.
